Sarah studied glass sculpture after high school and completed her undergraduate degree in visual art at Emily Carr University, one of Canada’s leading art schools. With a deep appreciation for art history and a desire to enhance her skills as a technical oil painter, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the New York Academy of Art, expected in 2025.

Her work explores the varying archetypes of womanhood, embracing independence while simultaneously admiring traditional stereotypes within heterosexual relationships. Growing up in a small town, she finds inspiration in the outlaws of her youth—free, wild, and yet conservative. Her art reflects a dichotomy between cultural tradition and non-conventional norms.

Over the last year Sarah has exhibited internationally, in Bridge Hampton, Paris, New York, as well as her first solo show in Australia in 2022.
